Classic, hybrid or volume?
The three sets differ in how many extensions go onto each natural lash, which is what determines how full the result looks.
- Classic — $100. One extension per natural lash. The most natural result: it looks like your own lashes, longer. If you have decent lash density already and you want to stop using mascara, this is the one.
- Hybrid — $125. A mix of classic single lashes and volume fans. More density than classic without going dramatic. The most popular set here, and the safest first choice if you're unsure.
- Volume — Call for price. Fans of several ultra-fine extensions on each natural lash. The fullest, most dramatic look. Because the individual lashes are much finer, a volume set isn't heavier than a classic set despite looking it.
Fills — the part people underestimate
Eyelash extensions need refilling every two to three weeks, because your natural lashes shed on their own cycle and take their extensions with them. Fills are priced by how long you leave it: a two-week classic fill is $55 and a three-week is $75; hybrid is $65 and $85; volume is $75 and $95.
The two-week price is lower because there's less to replace. Leaving it to three weeks costs more, not less, and past about three weeks a fill usually isn't viable — too few extensions remain to build on and it becomes a full set again. If you're going to commit to extensions, budget for the fill cadence, not just the first appointment.
What the appointment is like
You lie back with your eyes closed for the whole service. Your lower lashes are shielded with a protective pad, then extensions are applied to individual upper lashes with tweezers, one at a time. It's meticulous work and it isn't quick — most people find it restful enough to fall asleep, which is fine and fairly common.
Come with no eye makeup and no mascara. Clean, oil-free lashes hold adhesive far better, and any residue on the lash shortens the life of the whole set.
Who shouldn't get extensions
Please hold off if you have an eye infection, conjunctivitis or a stye; if you've had eye surgery or LASIK in the last six months; or if you're mid-course on a prescription lash serum. If you've ever reacted to eye makeup or adhesives, say so when you book and we'll patch test first.
Extensions also aren't a good match for anyone who rubs their eyes constantly or wears heavy eye makeup daily — the set won't last and you'll be disappointed in the value. We'd rather say that up front than take the booking.
